What a delightful stay! The cozy sitting room with a log fire was pure bliss, and the clean, lovely room felt like a mini retreat. The abundance of peaceful walks nearby was like a nature lover’s dream come true.
But let’s be honest, the winding road to get there felt like an audition for a stunt driver!

We had a wonderful stay, with our two adult kids. The setting is simply stunning. a hidden gem in a beautiful glen. Breakfast was fantastic, and our stay was made extra special when Andy kindly offered us covered parking for our bikes.
My wife says that the scheduled breakfast time felt a bit rushed.

What you’ll love and what you won’t
The hotel offers ample parking, beautiful gardens, and a cozy lounge with a fireplace, making it feel like a lovely retreat. The dining experience, including dinner and breakfast, is truly exceptional.
Rooms might feel cold at night, prompting requests for extra blankets. Some areas appear to need maintenance, diminishing the immediate visual charm.

The venison burger at dinner was absolutely fantastic, and breakfast French toast was just as delicious. I loved relaxing in the cozy garden area and taking advantage of the leisure room to unwind. The only small hiccup was that the shower could’ve used a bit more space, but that didn’t ruin my experience at all. 😊

Warm and cozy rooms featuring fireplaces set the stage for a delightful retreat. The friendly staff made the dining experience memorable, with exceptional meals that showcased local ingredients. However, the parking area seemed somewhat limited, and noise from other guests occasionally disrupted the quiet ambiance. Despite these minor issues, the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail made this visit truly enjoyable. Planning for a longer stay next time is a must.
